School Day
Good timekeeping is a key habit for life and work and as such all students are expected to arrive punctually at the beginning of the morning and afternoon school and also at the beginning of every lesson. All pupils are strongly encouraged to remain in school over lunch and it is expected that S1 pupils will remain on the school grounds at all times throughout the school day.
If your child arrives late in the morning at Groupcall text will be sent home to inform you. Where latecoming happens too often, parents will be invited into the school by a Guidance teacher to discuss what support can be offered.
Most days are split into six 50 minute periods, however on Monday and Wednesday there is an extra seventh period at the end of the day.
