Scottish Child Payment Applications

Scottish Child Payment applications will open to eligible children under the age of 16 from Monday 14 November. The payment will also increase from 

£20 to £25 a week for each child from this date. 

If you already get Scottish Child Payment you don’t need to reapply – it will continue as long as you remain eligible. 

If your child has turned 6 and is under 16, you will need to reapply when applications open on Monday 14 November. You can’t apply before this date.
